Hip hip hooray..! Excuse the pun, this is my 6 month anniversary from the day I got my Hip and femur replaced for the 3rd time. Back by popular demand the famous delirious hospital video crib style.
This video is shot 10 hours before my surgery. What most people don’t realize is I lost my job that day, which was pretty jacked up under the circumstances, but we will get back to that selfish move on a later date. So I recorded this video to have a little fun. I learned very young that laughter heals. I’m walking proof of this fact. I also know with every hardship there is an equal blessing.
The Blessing
After my coming to Jesus talk, I realized my leg will take almost a year to recover and I saw no job in my near future, something about limping into an interview doesn’t sit well with most employers. Equal employment is such a lie. So I had to act fast, because my disability check was a measly 200 bucks a month. Crack heads on disability were making more than me. I got just enough money to feed my 19 pound cat. So I figured I could sit around all day and watch Jersey Shore or I could hop on the computer and make some money. So the blessing was time. It was up to me during my recovery to use my time and my computer skills to make some money.
If this is a blessing, it is certainly very well disguised
Winston Churchill
Having a broken femur sucked, losing my job sucked, the doctor screwing up the first surgery sucked, the nurse giving me the wrong medications sucked, having a 22 inch scar sucked, being in that much physical pain sucked but having the time to learn how to make money online was a blessing in disguise. My first month online I made $125.25. The amount of money is not much but what is valuable is how I made it because my process is repeatable. The second month I made $404.12 and the third $678.84. I don’t show you these figures to brag I just want to prove if I can do it so can you, I hope this gives you a little motivation.
So when life throws you crazy ass curve balls make sure to stop and look for the hidden blessing, trust me the blessing is always there you just need to have an open mind to accept it. Have fun during your darkest hours, nobody likes a poor me attitude, it gets in the way of success and the blessing you will receive.
After Surgery
Notice: I’m still having fun
