Hip hip hooray..! Excuse the pun, this is my 6 month anniversary from the day I got my Hip and femur replaced for the 3rd time. Back by popular demand the famous delirious hospital video crib style.

This video is shot 10 hours before my surgery. What most people don’t realize is I lost my job that day, which was pretty jacked up under the circumstances, but we will get back to that selfish move on a later date. So I recorded this video to have a little fun. I learned very young that laughter heals. I’m walking proof of this fact. I also know with every hardship there is an equal blessing.

The Blessing

After my coming to Jesus talk, I realized my leg will take almost a year to recover and I saw no job in my near future, something about limping into an interview doesn’t sit well with most employers. Equal employment is such a lie. So I had to act fast, because my disability check was a measly 200 bucks a month. Crack heads on disability were making more than me. I got just enough money to feed my 19 pound cat. So I figured I could sit around all day and watch Jersey Shore or I could hop on the computer and make some money. So the blessing was time. It was up to me during my recovery to use my time and my computer skills to make some money.

If this is a blessing, it is certainly very well disguised
Winston Churchill

Having a broken femur sucked, losing my job sucked, the doctor screwing up the first surgery sucked, the nurse giving me the wrong medications sucked, having a 22 inch scar sucked, being in that much physical pain sucked but having the time to learn how to make money online was a blessing in disguise. My first month online I made $125.25. The amount of money is not much but what is valuable is how I made it because my process is repeatable. The second month I made $404.12 and the third $678.84. I don’t show you these figures to brag I just want to prove if I can do it so can you, I hope this gives you a little motivation.

So when life throws you crazy ass curve balls make sure to stop and look for the hidden blessing, trust me the blessing is always there you just need to have an open mind to accept it. Have fun during your darkest hours, nobody likes a poor me attitude, it gets in the way of success and the blessing you will receive.

After Surgery

Notice: I’m still having fun

I would love to hear about your blessings big or small. Please leave a comment below or Tweet this post if you enjoyed it. Remember to keep laughing.

Yo Yo! I got the real deal for you today. I call this site my golden nugget. Fiverr.com has saved me hundreds of hours of hard work. For most people Fiverr.com is a fun site where people will do almost anything for 5 bucks, but after the fun wears off, you can really use this site to your advantage to build your blogging empire.

What Blogger Don’t Realize

Most newbie bloggers don’t realize what it takes to build a successful blog. Unless your name is Paris Hilton and go viral overnight. There is so much work that needs to be done to make a pimp and popular blog. First and foremost, you need great content, which takes me a ton of time because I’m horrible at writing. I’m eventually going to make misspellings and bad grammar sexy, so stay-tuned. Besides great content the bloggers to-do list is endless. You need to sell your body for backlinks, be up-to-date on all SEO tactics, be a social media guru, graphic artist, make videos, ftp, cPanel, web design, create email lists, newsletters, etc. With so much to do, this is the main reason why most fools fail at making one cent online… That was until Fiverr.com came along.

So, here is the million dollar advice. Whatever needs to be done to make your blog a success buy it for 5 doll hairs.

Only 5 Bucks

Does your site need backlinks, stop begging and selling your body to get one-way links. Just go onto fiverr.com and fork out 5 bones and get some high PR backlinks.

Did you get drunk last night and don’t want to write content for your blog? Pay some fool 5 Lincoln’s to get ‘er done.

Do you need a custom Twitter background because you suck at graphic design? Why not find an artist on fiverr.com and drop 5 greenbacks?

Are you a loser and have no friends or followers on Twitter and Facebook? Well, I have a solution: go to fiverr.com and throw down 5 smackers and buy some friends.

Do you want your videos and content syndicated all over the net without lifting a finger. You can find that geeky programmer that would be more than happy to do this for only 5 dineros.

You can even get a half-naked chick to promote your website for 5 dirty dollars. [sex sells] The sky is the limits.

I can go on for days on all the possibilities fiverr.com can bring to the table. If you’re a serious blogger your mind is probably turning a million miles per-hour. For about 50 dollars you can have a huge jump start over your competitors by letting other people do all your dirty work for you.

“Work smarter, not harder” -Lame quote, but it applies

Don’t Leave Money on the Table

What skills do you have to make a quick 5 bucks? Everyone has a gift or passion, so what is yours? What can you do for others for a small fee? I recently pimped out my girlfriend on fiverr.com [get your mind out of the gutter] She is fluent in American Sign Language, so we did a 5-dollar video listing where she would do anything in sign language for a few minutes. Two days after posting she got her first gig.

Check her out!

Please leave a comment and tell me what you would do for five bucks, and what you would pay five bucks for. FYI: Beware once you go to this site be prepared to get sucked in for at least an hour.

Yours Truly,

Alrighty fools here is the deal, If you want a polpular blog you need to start branding yourself all over the internet. I’m not talking about spamming your link or any black hat methods but I want you to get your name and brand out to the general public. I have a few full proof methods that will get your brand seen by thousands of people, maybe even millions if your’re a pimp daddy.

You want to be very consistent in everything you do online. Here are 5 tecnquies I use to get my face and brand on the world-wide-web

5 Major Branding Techniques

Gravatar

Go to Gravatar.com and create yourself a Avatar. Your avatar can be your company logo a product image or a picture of yourself. Here is a picture of my avatar. I picked this picture because it is very eye catching and show cases my personality. I’m one crazy ass fool so this picture is perfect. This service is absolutely free your Gravatar is an image that follows you from site to site appearing beside your name when you do things like comment or post on a blog. Avatars help identify your posts on blogs and web forums. So basically you are leaving your footprint behind everywhere you go online.

Hint: If your avatar stands-out from the crowd more people will be interested and click through to your website…:)

Facebook Fan Page

Make a Facebook fan page. Again you can showcase your brand, use all the same logos and pictures you used on your website. In my experience making a fan page on Facebook is a pain in the ass, but it is just one of those things that needs to be done. If you want to learn how to make a fan page or just want to buy a template check out these fools they have a lot of great information HyperArts

Twitter Background

Brand your Twitter account with a custom background. I’m not a huge twitter fan because it is just one more thing to-do online but I need to start tapping into this traffic source. Like twitter or not this website is massive and there is a lot of opportunity so make sure you stand out from the crowd and make a pimp ass twitter background. Then go get as many followers that you can. If you are lazy like me and don’t have time to make a custom background design or don’t have the skillz, I would strongly suggest you buy one from Custom Twitter Backgrounds These guys have made backgrounds for some of the top celebrities on twitter and they are super good at what they do. I strongly recommend there services.

Are you LinkedIn

Another great site to get your brand out there is LinkedIn Instead of trying to explain what LinkedIn is I encourage you to visit their site. It basically links professionals with other professionals. It is a great site that explains who you are and what you do. LinkedIn always gets ranked really high in Google so I highly recommend you get an account and start branding your business. The services is absolutely free

YouTube Channel

Get a Youtube channel. Youtube is the second largest site for searches in the world. They get so much traffic it is ridiculous. So sign up for your own channel and start posting videos about yourself and your brand. If you miss this step you are really missing the boat. It is actually really fun to make videos. Who cares if you are camera shy once you do one or two videos you get over your fear. I use and iflip video camera. It only cost about 150 bucks for the HD version and it is as small as a digital camera and shoots great videos. Check it out below.

So those are the top five methods I use to start branding my website. These should keep you busy for a few days. Now, if you really want to get crazy go to Ping.FM and sign up for all the different social media sites. I’m not going to lie this is a pain in the ass, but once it is all set up it is on pure autopilot. You will be amazed on how much traffic you can get from using these methods. Just keep it simple and do one step at a time. All of this can be very overwhelming to a newbie.

So crack open a few beers and get down to business and start branding your site. Go ahead and spread your seed all over the net..Make sure to leave a comment and let me know how you brand your website.

Every website should have tracking in place. Tracking can be very useful to see what your visitors are actually looking at and what they are clicking on. You can also track were your traffic is coming from. Tracking can give you a lot of information about your site and your target audience.

When I’m looking at my tracking stats, I like to ask myself a lot of questions, and if you dig deep enough you can always find an answer.

Tracking Scenarios:

1. I saw a huge traffic spike when I posted a message on facebook. Why? Go back and see what you wrote. Did you have an appealing title, did you write something funny, was your message helpful. Once you figure it out rinse-and-repeat

2. One of my Post draws a lot of attention and comments, Why? Study that post and come up with a conclusion, maybe you were ranting that day or writing from the heart or giving your readers cutting edge information. Make sure to study why your visitors are going where they are going. This is worth its weight in gold.

3. You notice a lot of your traffic is coming from a certain state or region. This might seem odd, but I would investigate it further. If you notice most of your traffic is coming from Alaska you might want to study the demographics of that area. Is there more males then females? What is the average age or average income? These are all clues to narrow down your target audience..

Not all tracking services are created equal, Do you really want Google knowing everything about your websites and the footprints you leave behind !

The 3 most sexiest Traffic Statistic programs

Google Analytics

Is by far the most popular website tracking program and it is absolutely free. It has a lot of great features and if you are running a pure White Hat website then Google Analytics is a wonderful program and I highly recommend it. On the other hand do you really want Google to know every move you make on your website. Personally I don’t use Google for this reason. Sometimes I like to use Grey Hat methods that really work but Google does not agree with so I choose not to use Google Analytics.

Stat Counter

This is also a great free website tracking system, it is very easy to use and gives you a lot of great tracking information. They also have a WordPress plugin which is very easy to install. I have over a hundred affiliate sites and I use Stat Counter on all of them. I highly recommend this program if you want basic tracking information. Stat Counter

Mint

This is a paid program but worth every penny. Mint is an extensible, self-hosted web site analytics program. Its interface is an exercise in simplicity. Visits, referrers, popular pages and searches can all be taken in at a glance on Mint’s flexible dashboard. I highly recommend this program if you want to pony up the 30 bucks to use it. The great thing about Mint is they give you the tracking statistics that matter. You can find more information at Have a Mint

Make sure to get tracking in place today, I strongly suggest stat counter for your everyday affiliate sites. If you want something more serious fork out the 30 bucks for mint.

Please leave a comment below to let me know what kind of tracking you like for White Hat or Black Hat websites.

Welcome back to Fat Hat Friday, todays Crowning goes to JD Valerio who is a singer-songwriter along the lines of David Gray, David Wilcox, Jack Johnson, Stuart Davis and Peter Mayer, with dashes of rock and folk mixed in. Valerio often plays a solo show but, on occasion, will collaborate with a network of drummers, bass players, violinists and other musicians that add extra flavor. Most of the songs performed are from his extensive pool of originals; he’s also been known to play the occasional covers from the modern-rock canon and elsewhere. The summer of 2010 JD sold everything and went on a 3 month music tour around the United states to promote his music. I make profitable websites for a living. My recent project is quite unusual because I had to make a website for a customer that sells shit in a bag. Yes I said: "Shit." To be more specific it is cow and horse poop. I almost didn't take the project because I was like wtf? I did some research and I found this product to be a complete goldmine.

Any blog niche will work. We live in America so you can sale anything you want– you can even sell Poop in a bag and make a living. Please let me explain. I make profitable websites for a living. My recent project is quite unusual because I had to make a website for a customer that sells Poop in a bag. To be more specific it is cow and horse poop. I almost didn’t take the project because I was like what-the-hay? I did some research and I found this product to be very profitable in the Gardening niche market.

I think this is an important post because it showcases that you can make money in any niche, so don’t be afraid to take a chance and make your blog today. Sign up for my free 5-day e-course where I will show you step-by-step on how to make a profitable blog.

Let me explain my project: My client is in the garden niche and she sells a water conditioner fertilizer, which is basically cow and horse (poop) in a tea bag packaging. You brew the “tea bag” in water, leave it alone for 2 days, and then voila! It makes a wonderful, natural fertilizer to water your plants with. There are several clients that swear by it’s effectiveness and acceleration of their plant life. Each year she has doubled her sales by selling Manure in a tea bag! Why? Because she had a great idea that works. Gardeners around the world confirm this product works from it’s all-natural process and great results. Let me show you why this site was successful in a short amount of time.

Steps to a Successful Website Niche

1. You need a Great Idea

Who would have thought you can sell Poop in a tea bag and people would stand in line to purchase it. This project all started from a great idea and a product that works. So start to think of your next great idea.

2. Proper Domain Name

It is very important to pick the proper domain name. I can’t stress this enough. Use a keyword within your domain name.

3. Use a Good Theme

I normally always use Thesis because in my opinion it is the best theme around, but my client started her website using Genesis which sounds like a complete knock-off of Thesis, but all-in-all they both have good SEO capabilities. So, remember to have a good theme before you start any blog. I would have switched to Thesis when I came on board, but Genesis was already a decent platform.

4. Picking a Good WordPress Shopping Cart

I needed to integrate a shopping cart to this website and since I was using WordPress I went with WP e-Commerce which is an unbelievable plugin. There is a bit of a learning curve but all-in-all it is a great plugin with a lot of features within the free version. I used the free version and everything worked great, but if you really want to pimp out your site you can go with the gold package.

5. Use Keywords

I used a few selected keywords throughout the website to optimize each page. Don’t overuse your keywords while writing posts and pages, but make sure to add your fair share of keywords in strategic locations.

All About the Sign-Up Form

Every great niche website better have a Aweber sign-up form. It’s absolutely a necessity to capture email addresses. Don’t leave home without it. A good formula to go by is every person on your list resembles $1 buck a month. So if you have 500 people on your list you can expect to make roughly $500 bucks a month.

These simple techniques got my client to position number 3 in Google. Not so bad when you are selling Poop in a bag.

The Niche Website

Don’t be afraid to sell anything My point is that I just wanted to show you how simple it is to make a profitable website. Please comment below and let me know the techniques you used to make your profitable website or if you have any questions on how to make one. Don’t be afraid to comment. I love your input. Lets do this.
